Imaginary scenarios about god

One of the main capacities we posses as human beings, is that of constructing representations of the reality that surrounds us, taking into account the functioning of the forces of nature, of other living beings and of ourselves.

During the construction of these representations, children slowly incorporate the things they receive through the influence of the adults and of the social and cultural factors that surround them.  However, the ideas about God have a very specific characteristic: they are out of reach from experience itself.

This project aims to investigate the ideas that children have about God and to discover how much of these ideas are assimilated, created, understood and represented through social and culturally learned concepts and the dimension that imagination and fantasy acquire within this process.
